The Board of Directors of KFB ("Board") wishes to inform that the closing date of the application ("Closing Date") has been extended from 5.00 p.m. on Friday, 15 July 2005 to 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 26 July 2005.

Accordingly, the tentative date for the despatch of notice of allotment to successful applicants has now been changed from 25 July 2005 to 5 August 2005. The tentative listing date has also been changed from 28 July 2005 to 8 August 2005.

The extension of the Closing Date will provide adequate time for investors to subscribe for KFB shares and participate in the listing of KFB on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities").
